Project Name: Baxter Finals Lab and Cladding Upgrade Works

Theprojectsconsisted of the phased refurbishment of the existing Finals Lab area including internal demolition works in a live pharmaceutical plant and new specialist high specification finishes and the installation of a new architectural panel façade to replace the existing brickwork / sheet cladding Main Entrance Elevation including new integrated windows & doors along with all ancillary and structural works. There was also various landscaping works included in this project. The cladding upgrade works included demolition works to form new window and door openings and installation of a remedial wall tie system into the existing brick cavity wall and then fitting architectural panel façade onto the existing façade using a tophat system.
The Finals Lab works consisted of alterations to the existing structural layout to provide an open plan lab with new windows providing views out into the adjoining plant areas. There was extensive demolition works carried out to form new window openings along with specialist concrete cutting to form new drainage runs in the existing floors. The finishes include new fire rated glazed screens along with fire rated roller shutters housed internally and concealed in the suspended ceiling. Other finishes include, new vinyl floor finishes, new PVC wall cladding, new suspended ceilings and new laboratory desks incorporating a glazed worktop by specialist contractors.
