Thisprojectinvolved the Design and Build of a production facility, 4535 square meters gross internalarea, having a clear height to parapet of 10m meters, external site works including hard standings, car parking, landscaping and drainage. Theproject included installation of significant Mechanical and Electrical equipment, Fittings and Furnishings, e.g. HV Switchgear and Distribution Boards, HVAC, Security System, Roller Doors, Dock Leveller, etc.
The Building structure consisted of a Steel Portal Frame on concrete pad/ground beam foundations. There was Kingspan Architectural Panels installed on the external elevations and a composite Kingspan Roofing Panel used on the roof with integrated Rooflight Panels.
The office block section internally is a 2 storey Block, and the first-floor structure is constructed of Precast Hollowcore Units with a structural screed on top. The internal walls are a mix of blockwork and stud partitions. There is curtain wall glazing installed to the front elevation. The internal finishes include carpet tile / vinyl / epoxy floor coating, suspended ceiling grids with ceiling tiles in the office block area and a mix of Fair Faced Blockwork and Render for the internal walls. External works included diversion of existing Public Foul & Storm Water Systems, installation of new Foul & Stormwater systems and connection to the public system. TheStormwater system includes new attenuation system, bypass separator tank and flow control. The project also included installation of underground Gas& Electrical Services including construction of a new ESB Substation on site.
