The project consisted of a new two storey extension over the existing Urgent Care Centre including associated site works at Roscommon County Hospital. The 1314m² development over the existing urgent care centre comprised (1) an Endoscopy Unit (1105m²) including a link corridor to the main hospital at 1st floor level and associated plant at roof level, (2) a Shell & Core Unit (209m²) for future fit out. The new Endoscopy Unit includes two procedure rooms, a decontamination area and support accommodation. The development also included site development works associated with improving access to car parking, vehicular & pedestrian circulation, hard and soft landscaping and connections to existing site services infrastructure. The various finishes on the project included Sto Render, Limestone Cladding, Zinc Cladding and Aluminium Louvered Screens. The internal finishes were subject to a strict approval process and were fully HTM compliant for use in hospital environments.
